DISPLAY ART Group of Companies in collaboration
with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry
and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and
Tourism, proudly announce the
organization of the 5th “International
Mediterranean Food & Drinks Exhibition
2009”, which will be held at the Cyprus State
Fairs Authority Exhibition grounds between
13-15 November 2009. The exhibition will incorporate
also a special sector for Hotel Equipment
& Accessories, in response to the demand
by many hotel entrepreneurs who visited the
last exhibition.
Why participate?
The “5th International Mediterranean Food
& Drinks Exhibition 2009”, has been designed
for the professionals in the foodstuff and
drinks industries and the auxiliary supporting
sectors, providers of equipment and raw materials
on the one hand and the buyers - distributors
on the other. A large number of business entities
are involved in the production and distribution
of food products; and also a large number
of recipient business entities, the buyers,
who consecutively are dealing with the retail
trade. The same applies for the drinks industry.
It is apparent that both industries
comprised of both importers and exporters
of foodstuff and drinks constitute the largest
sectors of the economy in terms of people
involved, as they provide the basic items
for the nourishment of the hundreds of thousands
of consumers.
Moreover, the Exhibition sets the standards
of the Gastronomy and Hotel trade and
offers endless opportunities to anyone who
cares to invest and expand in these sectors.
It is normal for progressive manufacturers
and distributors of food products and drinks
and for importers and manufacturers of hotel
equipment and accessories, to respond positively
to participate in Food & Drinks Exhibitions,
like the “5th International Mediterranean
Food & Drinks Exhibition 2009” which DISPLAY
ART will organize between 13-15 November 2009.

Exhibition.

world but especially from the neighbouring
Mediterranean and European countries. Cyprus

Participation
DISPLAY ART is expecting an increased number
of participants both local and foreign as
well as intensive interest from professionals
hoteliers and other visitors to the forthcoming
Exhibition. This is based on our past experience
and particularly from the organization of
the “Food Lovers Show 2004” and from the success
of the Mediterranean Food & Drinks Exhibition
2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
The “5th International Mediterranean Food
& Drinks Exhibition 2009” is aiming to
become a major International one, in the Region
and in this respect, already a number of foreign
firms have shown special interest to participate
directly from abroad.

procedures have already commenced. Thus from
now on we will continue in a very intensive
way until the 15th of November 2009, which
is the last day of the Exhibition, to create
for you, the Exhibitors, the correct forum
in the framework of a constructive and fruitful
